# Colors and theme

> How to change colors and the look of your website

## Open theme settings

1. Go to **General settings**
2. Scroll to the **Color theme** (Litaþema) section

## Main settings

| Setting             | What it does                          |
| ------------------- | ------------------------------------- |
| **Primary color**   | Main color for buttons and highlights |
| **Secondary color** | Accent color for certain elements     |
| **Accent color**    | Color for links and emphasis          |
| **Background**      | General background color              |

  Choose a color that matches your logo. You can use presets to get started quickly.

## Dark mode

If dark mode is enabled, the site can appear with a dark background. Preview the site before visitors see the change.

## Hero and footer

In the same section you can set background colors for:

* **Page hero** — the large header at the top of pages
* **Footer** — the bottom of the site

## Save

Click **Save settings** at the bottom when you are happy with the colors.
