# Visual editor

> How to edit page content

## Open the editor

1. Go to **Pages** and select a page
2. Click **Edit** — or open the page and choose the **Content blocks** (Efnishlutar) tab

The editor opens full screen with a preview in the center.

## Editor layout

| Part       | Purpose                                  |
| ---------- | ---------------------------------------- |
| **Left**   | List of content blocks — drag to reorder |
| **Center** | Preview of how the page looks            |
| **Right**  | Edit the selected block                  |

## Add a block

1. Click **+ Add block** (+ Bæta við blokk) on the left
2. Choose a type (e.g. Text, Gallery, Introduction)
3. The block appears at the top — drag it to the right place

## Edit a block

1. Click the block in the left list
2. Change text, images, or settings in the right panel
3. Changes appear immediately in the preview

## Save changes

Individual blocks save automatically. If you change the page title at the top, click **Save all** (Vista allt) at the top right.

## Preview on the site

Click **Preview** (Forskoðun) at the top right to open the page in a new tab — exactly as visitors will see it.

  You can hide the left or right panel with the keyboard: `[` for left, `]` for right.

## Back to general settings

Click **General settings** (Almennt stillingar) at the top to change title, slug, publishing, and SEO.
